Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Clearifi ("Service"), operated by Blazitek Solutions Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Clearifi is a household expense tracking application that allows users to connect bank accounts, import transactions, categorize expenses, set budgets, and generate financial reports. The Service uses Plaid to securely connect to financial institutions and Stripe for payment processing.

3. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • One person may belong to only one household at a time

4. Household Accounts

Clearifi is designed for household use. When you create or join a household:

  • Financial data (transactions, accounts, budgets) is shared among all household members
  • Any household member can connect bank accounts, which become visible to all members
  • The household creator is the initial administrator
  • You are responsible for inviting only trusted individuals to your household

5. Bank Connections

Bank account connections are facilitated through Plaid Inc. By connecting a bank account:

  • You authorize Clearifi to retrieve your transaction and account data via Plaid
  • You agree to Plaid's terms of service and privacy policy
  • We do not store your bank login credentials
  • You can disconnect any bank account at any time
  • Transaction data may take up to 24 hours to appear after initial connection

6. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Some features require a paid subscription
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service
  • Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service
  • Use another person's bank credentials or account information

8. Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate transaction data and categorization, Clearifi is a financial tracking tool and not a financial advisor. Transaction data is provided by your financial institution via Plaid and may occasionally contain errors or delays. Auto-categorization is algorithmic and may require manual correction. You should not rely solely on Clearifi for financial decision-making.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Blazitek Solutions Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial household financial tracking.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blazitek Solutions Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
